Training weekends for Re-enactors

This is a great site for groups to get together to do a uniform check, practice drill, let off a few rounds or just have a social get together. You will have exclusive use of the camp and field and attendees can sleep over in the Nissens. To make it more comfortable we have just built our latest Nissen hut No. 5, as the Barracks with Cookhouse on the end.

No. 5 will sleep at least 11 or more if you bring your own camp beds.

Hire Charges: There is a minimum fee of £150 for a Group of up to 10 people, or if more then a cost per head fee.

If you want entertainment in the evening there is a piano player who lives on site, he's quite talented and can even play Les Dawson style completely out of tune!

Pyrotechnic Courses

Courses specifically for re-enactment battlefield effects are held covering all aspects of the planning and execution of displays.

Comprehensive course notes are provided to aid compliance with the regulations and standards pertaining to the use of pyrotechnics. These courses organised by TLSFX and AFRA give you hands on experience with the emphasis on safety.
